How to plan the perfect Friendsgiving

Thanksgiving is coming soon and while many people celebrate with their families, it is also fun to celebrate with friends. Friendsgiving is a trendy and fun way to celebrate with your friends and show them how thankful you are for them! Here are some fun ideas on how you can celebrate with your pals.

  1. This is a great way to have a Thanksgiving dinner (or lunch) with your friends, plus no one is stuck with the task of cooking everything. Have each of your friends attending your Thanksgiving get-together bring a different food item to create a whole Thanksgiving meal!                    [slideshow_deploy id=’9089′]
  2. Movie night is always a fun idea for a night with friends. Watch a classic Thanksgiving flick like  A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, or ring in the holiday season with Christmas classics! Grab some blankets and treats, and enjoy!                                                                                               [slideshow_deploy id=’9093′]
  3. Another great thing to do with your pals is cookie making. Grab some pre-made cookie dough at the store- or make your own- and heat up your oven! You can also decorate them with different-colored frostings and add a variety of sprinkles to make them extra festive. You can even cut your cookies into fun shapes like turkeys, pumpkins, and leaves. This is a great activity with a delicious end result!                                                                                                                                    [slideshow_deploy id=’9097′]
  4. A fun way to take cute pictures with your friends, you can set up a photo booth on a plain wall, or you can hang up a sheet of paper.  Print out cute Thanksgiving phrases online and stick them on a popsicle stick, or you can find sets of cutouts at many stores. Get silly with your friends and take some fun pictures!                                                                                                                      [slideshow_deploy id=’9102′]
  5. If no one wants to host your Friendsgiving, you can plan a fun day out! The twin cities and Eagan are full of great restaurants for lunch or dinner, plus there are always fun events. You could simply go out to ice cream with your friends, or spend the whole day out on the town having fun!

Friendsgiving is a special way to celebrate your friends and show them how much you care and appreciate them. No matter how you spend the day, make sure you show your friends you are grateful for them!
