What are your goals for the season?

Fanny Decattoire: “As a program we hope to get everything well put together so we can go to our competitions well prepared. As a team we want to get closer and get to know everyone, especially the new skaters. We want to enjoy our time together.”

How will this season/team compare to last year’s?

Fanny Decattoire: “This year, since I’m a senior, I feel like I’m going to pay more attention to everything because it’s the last time I’ll be doing everything. I feel like there’s a lot of new skaters too.”

What is your mentality going into the season?

Ava Thrawl: “I’m pretty optimistic that we can do well this year. Two years ago we won our national competition and now we’ll go back to the tournament and I think we can win it.”

What is the biggest difficulty throughout the season?

Fanny Decattoire: “Definitely the hardest thing is having everyone focused, because I know when we’re trying to fix things, there are people that listen, and there’s also some that don’t.”
