Rich Dad, Poor Dad Review

Rich Dad, Poor Dad Review

Abby Cecka, Features Writer

Eagan High School senior Derek Feeser is preparing for a potential career in the financial field, and recently read Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki, to learn more about managing finances.

“The book offers a different perspective on reaching financial independence,” Feeser says. The author shows the potential risks involved in ‘safe’ investments and promotes somewhat more daring investment options, contrary to what we’ve been taught.

Feeser says that he’s learned a lot about finances and stocks, among other things, and that the book has also helped him to reduce future college loans. He advises students, “Take the time to invest in your financial education. If you can do that, you will be able to make smart financial decisions.”

Rich Dad, Poor Dad is both an interesting read and a valuable one for anyone interested in learning more about finances.
