The 2025 Winter Blast Medallion Hunt begins tomorrow, January 23.

Winter Blast is next week but let’s get the fun started early. This hunt is the 18th annual medallion hunt. A small medallion with the logo above has been hidden somewhere on the EHS campus. Every school day between tomorrow and next Friday a new clue will be published here to guide you to the treasure.

Last year, three seniors found the medallion in the trees by the MPR. Will you be the next winner?

What do I win for finding the medallion?

The winners get a $50 catered lunch at school for themselves and friends. They also win a $100 gift card.

Where can I look?
Where can I look?

The medallion could be inside or outside of the school building. It can be anywhere inside or on the yellow line on this map.

It is in a place that is accessible when the building is open. It is not:

  • the middle school
  • in an office
  • in a classroom
  • in a bathroom (ewwww)
  • in a lockerroom
  • attached to a person
  •  in a desk waiting to be hidden on the last day

It could be in the library. It is in a place where you do not need to harm property to access it. For example, it is not:

  • in a trash can
  • in a ceiling tile
  • behind a teacher’s posters
  • in a light fixture
  • on the building roof
  • attached to the American flag outside (funny, but no)
When do new clues come out?

Check this story link every morning at 6:55 am for a new clue starting tomorrow, January 23.

Each clue will become more specific so timing is important.

When can I look for the medallion?

You can look before or after school.

Do not leave study hall, PAWS, lunch, or class to look for the medallion. Seriously. Don’t do it

What do I do when I find it?

Bring the medallion to the main office or bring it to room 116 for verification and to claim the prize.

An announcement will be made when the medallion is found.
