The second installment of the action-packed Avengers series was released in theaters last Thursday night, and Eagan High School freshman, McKayla Murphy, attended the first showing. In director Joss Whedon’s new Marvel blockbuster, character Tony Stark unleashes a technological terror determined to exterminate mankind, forcing the Avengers to assemble in an attempt to save humanity.

“It’s a really good movie,” Murphy confirms. “It was funny, had lots of action, and they did a great job developing the characters and their back stories.”

She goes on to give the film a 5 star rating, and also says that, “Everyone needs to see this, it’s amazing!”

Age of Ultron has already gotten thousands of positive views, from both EHS students like Murphy and from other viewers and websites around the country. It has reached the record books with the second highest single day gross ever with over $84 million. In the opening weekend alone, the film grossed $187 million, and after the first week, it stands at a total domestic gross of $279 million.

Without a doubt, going to see this film in theaters will not disappoint!
