MTV Movie Awards Recap

The 25th annual MTV Movie Awards aired Sunday night. It drew 3.5 million viewers across nine networks. Some categories included Best Kiss, Comedic Genius, and MTV Generation Award. Hosting the event were Dwayne the Rock Johnson, and Kevin Hart, who were by far the best hosts with their stunt performances and obviously hilarious comments. Some winners of the night included Amy Poehler, for best virtual performance in the movie Inside Out, and Ryan Reynolds as Daredevil for best comedic performance. Best kiss was won by Rebel Wilson and Adam Devine, who gave a demonstration of how good their kiss really was. Star Wars: The Force Awakens won for best movie. The Comedic Genius award went to Melissa McCarthey, who was hilarious in movies like Spy, Bridesmaids, The Heat, and her 2016 movie The Boss. MTV recognized Will Smith for the Generation Award. The night was a really positive look back on all the amazing movies, actors, and actresses of the year! The 2016 MTV movie awards are sure to be even better!
