Word in the Halls: Holiday Traditions

Kaity Fisher, Editor-in-Chief

December is a month of many celebrations. Between Hanukkah (late November to early December), Christmas (December 25th), and Kwanzaa (December 26th to January 1st), the festivities are abundant! Many families who celebrate these holidays have special traditions. We asked what they were in the halls of Eagan.

A handful of people stated that they do not have any holiday traditions. However, the overwhelming response was putting up and decorating a Christmas tree with your family. Others stated that they went to their grandparent’s or other relatives houses. There were several food related responses as well, including baking cookies and eating cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning.

Eagan has some amazing holiday traditions around this time of year! We are wishing you a happy holiday this season if you celebrate any, and a happy new year!
