What are Holiday Hugs?

What are Holiday Hugs?

If you’ve been keeping up with what’s posted around school, you may have noticed posters detailing a new program called Holiday Hugs. I’ve overheard people speculate on what it is— including some who think you can send someone to hug your friend. Luckily for their friends, it is not quite that. I talked to Mrs. Lehmann, the Student Ambassador advisor, about what it is.

“It is a box of candy (kisses, hugs and candy canes) that anyone can send to a friend, teacher, etc,” she explained. It is meant to bring holiday cheer to friends and teachers. They are three dollars each and will be sold this week on the 13th, 14th, and 15th during lunch. They will be delivered on December 19th during PAWS.

Personally, I’m super excited to send some Holiday Hugs to my friends. Not only do they spread cheer, they also help support the Student Ambassadors program here at EHS. Let’s all give some Hugs this holiday season!
