Recently, Buck Hill a ski hill in Burnsville, announced a change in ownership.

In 1954, Chuck and Nancy Stones founded this resort open for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. Many World Cup skiers trained on this hill, including Lindsay Vonn.

Buck Hill has been sold to its previous general manager Don McClure along with Corrine and David Solner. The main goal is to turn the facility into a year round attraction for people interested in both summer and winter sports.

Plans include an outdoor mountain biking facility, along with an indoor skiing facility that includes trampolines to practice jumps on during the winter time.  Also a hotel and a shopping center will be built to allow for a more convenient and family-oriented experience.

Make sure to watch out for these exciting new features in the 2016-2017 season!
