During the pandemic, it can be easy to be and feel isolated from others. While social distancing from the people you love is tough there are still many ways to spend time together six feet apart and in a safe way! Here are some suggestions:

Have a bonfire! A bonfire is a great and easy way to connect with your friends while sitting a safe distance away. Plus you can roast s’ mores and will stay warm as fall nights continue to get chilly!

Walk around the Eagan outlets Whether you’re just window shopping, getting holiday gifts early, or shopping for something in particular a mall is a great place to safely hang out with friends and get out of the house.

Visit an apple orchard! You can go apple picking, grab some pumpkins to carve, or even get lost in a corn maze! Apple Orchards are a great place to enjoy the fall weather and also support local businesses!

Play an outdoor sport together! Get some exercise on the tennis court, while playing frisbee, or by practicing your soccer skills with your friends and family. Soak up warm fall weather while it lasts before Minnesota freezes by getting outside!

Have a Picnic! Picnics are always a great option for a safe hangout! Bring some food, a drink, a speaker, and your comfiest blanket and enjoy sitting and chatting with friends while you enjoy a tasty meal.

Take a walk in any of the beautiful parks Eagan and the Twin Cities have to offer. You could hike a new trail or just take a stroll around a lake. Lebanon Hills has many great trails to offer along with many parks around the Twin Cities.

Attend a drive-in movie or host a movie night in your garage! Try setting up a socially distant movie experience from your garage with either a laptop, projector, or portable TV! This is a great option to see your friends and maybe even watch a Halloween or holiday-themed movie to get in the spirit!

Remember to wear a mask, and stay safe while having fun!
